They only offered me a promo APR through next May. Yawn.
Ok Chase!😍🥰 I wasn’t eligible to apply for the Freedom Flex due to being over 5/24 nor could I product change my original Freedom to the Flex (too new). Got this targeted offer today via email!
Already being discussed here
That's nice!! I'm not jealous tho. I already get 5% back on utilities and cell phone bill thru USB Cash +. I got $75 last month out of $250 maximum cash back. $5k quarterly spend limit (2 cash +signature cards). I don't pay for internet and i don't have cable. I get 6% on streaming services thru BCP and 5% through paypal on Chase already.
Yeah I saw this in my email this moring for my Freedom Unlimited, perhaps because it's been getting less use since my Freedom app.
Very nice offer if only for a brief time, 1 maybe 2 times per utlitiy depending on the billing dates. Unfortunately I already paid my Phone and Internet a mere threee days ago on my 3% card, so I'll have to wait till next month for those two.
Kind of a bummer it doesn't go into Jan-Feb when my electric bill is higher. lol

There is nothing stopping you from prepaying those in December.
It would balance itself, because you would not have to pay them in January/February

AMEX must not like money
They aren't even trying
Neither are 🧦
I got email for both cards yesterday telling me to use my cards, but with no incentive.
They could have included a heart or something
Who's?
I have a situation where my lowest limit Chase card, my CFU at $13,400 is being used as my daily driver because of 3x dine and 1.5x everything else. I'm running at least $1000 a month of spend on it now.
My thinking is it may make sense to close and move like 5k over to my Chase Freedom and $7,400 over to my Hyatt card, put the bills and utilities all on Freedom, then daily drive remaining spend with Hyatt.
How does this make sense? Freedom as we know will go 5x once in a while on select bills. If its 1x for the 3 other quarters it averages out to 2x over a whole year. With Hyatt I'm trying to make a run for Explorist (20 of 30) and for every $5000 spend its two qualifying nights. To buy two qualifying nights in points I'd have to spend 10,000 so this is essentially a 2x bonus on my daily drive.
At least until I secure Explorist I think it makes good sense. Down the road I can pick up a CFF for the bonus offer if I want.
I just got approved for my CSP on 11/3. Hoping I get this same targeted offer... I could max out these categories, and get the 10K UR points easily within these next two (2) months. I live in CA, so auto insurance/cell phone/cable/internet are all expensive.
I don't think anybody else thought of prepaying to take advantage of the offer. Genius!
