Come on, take it easy...
Exactly why I don't come here very often any longer! Most people just congratulate you, or mention their similar experiences. But, unfortunately there are the many who think that their opinion and their way is what everyone should be doing.
Guess I'll just keep my experiences out of the lime light of MyFico.
And by the way, are you the commentor's protector? Geez, thank goodness I won't be checking or reading this site any longer. I should have just stayed away as I had been.

Diversity is what makes the world go around. Don't be so sentimental.

@Anonymous wrote:I've had my Chase Freedom Card for 13 months now, and have a $5,200 Credit Limit. Today, I sent a SM through the Chase site and asked if I could convert to a Signature Card. They answered back that I was indeed eligible to convert, and all I needed to do was respond to the e-mail that it was alright to proceed. So, I did!!
I have 2 more months on my Captial Quicksilver Cards, which I will then combine and request a Signature Quicksliver Visa. That'll whittle down another card and give me another Signature Visa.
And the advantage of multiple Sig Visas is?...
To have! Why do people climb mountains? You actually took the time to ask that question? Wow!
I took the time to ask the question as part of my "Help people focus on worthwhile goals" job. While mountain climbing may not appeal to all, climbing a major mountain can be seen to be a great achievement. Getting a Visa Sig (which are handed out very generously these days) really isn't, IMO, particularly worthwhile, unless it actually provides value.
Not sure I remember asking for your help. Unless asked it is best to keep your "help people focus on worthwhile goals" to yourself unless asked. Your opinion, as is your advise is of no value to me. I won't be reading or answering your self admiration of yourself and your help.
Uh, if you make a post here then you can expect a wide variety of responses and people don't need your permission to post. As long as they are within the guidelines for posting they are entitled to do so just as you can ignore the posts. There was nothing wrong with LTL's question. And while we certainly don't want to see you leave the forum I think you're overreacting a bit.

Smart Alec. Actually, I have all VS now, just forgot to mention in sig. Chase likes handing those out. Wonder if the concierge can help me move?
Congratulations!

Credit bodybuilding are so similar. If I have been doing 500 push-ups every day since junior high I sure as heck would not look the same. Any good gym people don't care output just nice to know if it's more than last month.
haha glad you pointed this out. I seem to be addicted to these ongoing incrementally-progressing types of things in life. It used to be World of Warcraft, which fortunately I traded for weight lifting and education, and more recently added in credit profile building and management.
As Ronnie Coleman often said "yeah buddy!"
