Chase IHG - Accelerated Points

So I recently opened a new Chase IHG account and saw the accelerated offers section. I know I can meet some of these bonuses easily, the first one I did was download the app. I followed the directions but still have not received the 500 bonus. Does anyone know from experience if it takes a while?

It took about 6 weeks and I had to email IHG for my b.f account and about 4 weeks for my moms account. Expect to wait a while.

6-8 weeks was kinda standard for me, for both the 2015 and 2016 Acceleration points. But the deals were pretty good.
