I received an email from my Marriott Rewards account with an offer 80K points, all the other perks for a spend of $3K / 3 months. Has anybody ever known of them to offer more? The most I have seen in a limited time of keeping track of this sort of thing has been the 70K.
Thanks in in advance for your input.

70k is the highest publicly available offer.
80k i've seen only a few times in targeted offers. Never seen anything more than that.
I can't answer your question, but I'll ask you a couple:
I'm keeping an eye on this one and a couple of the other hotel cards. How long have you had your Marriott rewards account and have you used it? Or just set it up?

I've had my Rewards account for several years. I'm just finally in a spot credit wise to start applying for cards. I just hit my Delta spend with AMEX and want to decide between the Mariott and Hilton as I have both. Based on my experience the Marriott points tend to provide a little more value.

What is your status like at marriott?
Marriott card is a no brainer. In my opinion ALL of chase's hotel cards are no brainers as they all provide a free night annually, making the AFs more than worth it. (Not counting the ritz card, different league of hotel card)
Ritz card is also a great option for marriott if you don't stay enough to maintain gold status on nights alone. $395 annual feeand grants gold status each year with 10k spend (automatic gold the first year) along with a host of other benefits, as well as 140,000 marriott points.
220k marriott points from the 2 cards could get you a travel package.
My status is always just a few nights short of Gold at the end of every year, unfortunately! My company travel also requires me to stay int the "preferred" Hilton props unless I can justify a different one. Which most of the time I can, but I'm always a few stays away!
im usually about 75% Marriott and 25% Hilton.
I got a targeted mail last week. Snail mail, not email.
But ... it was only for 70K.
So I don't feel so special.
