I verified both Capital One and PenFed are offering 0% for 12 mos w/ 3% fee. (Also, while I was looking around AmEx to see if they offer a BT option, I realized I hadn't requested a CLI for my AmEx in a while. It was approved. )
So, take away would be to have @Kforce crunch numbers for you and @Remedios talk some sense into you.
That's great, glad you had those offers available. Also, congrats on your increase
@Remedios I probably have you to thank for that. lol

No, it's not. It's horrible
Really? A max of 10% interest over a 2-year period is considered "horrible"?
Really, yes.
If you had to pick whether you wanted 3% or 10% reduction in pay, which one would you pick?
OP is going to save a lot with this approach, so I'm not quite sure what's so puzzling.
I'm not being eTone deaf, I understand perfectly that loan (whether a personal loan or funded via credit card) would be a life saver to some, to others it may not be depending on their options.
Focusing on wrong things is how many things start going terribly wrong. When it comes to money, one should explore all the available options. Looking at 10% and going "That's not bad" is an option, but so is "can I do better than this" which coincidentally is the reason members ask questions.
Or maybe I don't like hanging out in echo chamber, 'tis very possible.
