Chase Payment Set Up issue-No Resolution

I have 6 chase cards-Never had a problem setting up my checking account(s) online to pay my bill.  I usually make multiple payments a month or PIF.  Sooooooooooooooooo..............Today, decided to pay my new United Club Card, since the AF posted.  I set up my capital one checking account on the chase website, it is set up to my freedom and SW card.  Error.....I check the routing number and account number for my checking.....Error "cannot set up your account blah blah blah, your account is not eligible"  HUH????????  I check my routing number and checking account number MULTIPLE times , clear my browsing history, log off, log in blah blah blah.  On the phone for 30 minutes with Chase, and they said that on thier side, they see that the account number of my checking is not a valid checking account. They cant do anything.  Not  a deal breaker since I have 3 checking accounts but this is so strange since I pay my freedom and SW card through Cap1 checking all the time.  Even Chase cant figure it out.

To add, I was terrified that Chase shut me down but they said your accounts look great and Thank you for being a valued customer.

That is indeed strange.  I'd call back and request to be connected to their technical department since you are having issues on your accounts.

Use your banks online bill pay and send them the money. I would not want any bank to store my bank account #.
