Hello everyone,
Just logged into Chase online banking to check my payment due date and was prompted to update my income. Is this unusual? My income has stayed the same and I just entered the same figure I put on the original application. Should I be expecting a CLI or possible AA? Has this happened to anyone recently?
Thanks!
It happens periodically.
i have had this happen with most lenders. Albeit rarely with Chase.
i would just update and forget.

Barclays did the exact same thing to me yesterday. Some of the verbage referenced for possible credit limit increases too.
I really wish that they would.
I been stuck like glue at $5K over 2 years now with regular usage and according to their own U/W when i done a PC to the Ring last year "strong" payment history.
As regards Chase i had to give myself a CLI on the CSP some months ago by closing the Freedom Card (which i really liked BTW) and moved that limit over to it.
Hopefully that's a good sign for you that one is coming.
I believe lenders need a yearly income update to consider you for increases. I've been prompted by chase a couple of times. I periodically just go in to all of my accounts and update my income even if its the same.
That's very strange for Barclays-- I'm sensing a CLI is headed your way Good luck!

Good luck!
Thank You
In my eyes it's been long overdue.
While i understand that they don't owe any of us nothing, i would like to believe that they do occasionally reward responsible use with just a little luv ONCE.
Still waiting for the first one from them.

Have you asked for one?

Well, i have when it was the Rewards Card before the PC to Ring now.
So how exactly does one go about "asking" for a APR reduction on the already low APR Ring Card with hopes that a SP CLI might be in the works too?
I get a hard copy in the mail of my TU report (Thanks Discover) any day now to check on any SP's lately.
