Does Chase allow reallocation of just part of a limit from another card without closing the previous card. I want to keep my Freedom card for the 5% quarterlies, but I would like to have a higher limit on my new Slate card that has 0% (as well as a $1500 lower limit). Everything I have read seems to point to Chase only allowing this when the other card is being closed, which I would obviously not want to do.
