Makes sense that they would put the earnings on par with the Luxury SPG card (although this does get the car rental bonus as well). That's a real bummer about the 10% bonus going away, though. Another leg up that the Ritz-Carlton has over the Luxury SPG will likely be on the restaurants; not even taking into consideration acceptance, international restaurants almost always code as restaurants with Chase cards and get the bonuses, but Amex specifically states only US restaurants for their bonus.
