I have two chase cards:
Chase Marriott: $16,500 (opened in 2013, never derog, CLI was stuck at $9k forever then got an autoCLI to $16,500 in March)
CSR: $30,000 (opened in April; instant approval for $30k)
I use the Marriott for my business travel (reimbursed by my employer) and spend $60k - $75k per year on that. I need to increase the SL on the Marriott card further because it's killing my util every month. Looks like I have three options:
(1) Transfer some of my SL from the CSR to the Marriott card. No HP required.
(2) Request a CLI on the Marriott card. HP required
(3) Wait until Chase decides to AutoCLI the Marriott card again (not my favorite idea)
I'd rather avoid the hard pull (at least for the next 6 months or so). If I transfer the SL from the CSR over to the Marriott card, can I then go back in the future and ask for a CLI on the CSR? I'd probably transfer $20k over to the Marriott card and would like to get that back.
Or... should I wait a few months and just eat the HP for the Marriott card? I suppose could also wait a while and then app for the Freedom Unlimited and hope for a generous SL (and move that around).
Any thoughts/recommendations. Thanks!

I think if you're willing to waste the HP I would ignore requesting a CLI and go straight to applying for a new card like the FU you mentioned and move the lines accordingly especially if you want to keep the CSR limit relatively intact. Otherwise I'd keep your HP and move some of your CSR line to the Marriott card and stand pat while crossing your fingers that Chase gives you auto-CLIs and if not plan accordingly on how you want to proceed.
I am curious as to why your CSR is not being used for business and reimbursed by your employer (considering the annual fee and all).....just curious...no advise or suggestions...
