Chase Scores Need for Good CLI

What are the Chase scores needed, when they pull ed hard inq, to get a sizable CLI? MY scores are in the low 700s? Anything else I need to know? My current CL is 4K? Many thanks! -Pj P.S. It would be nice to have a total CL of 10K, at least...is it possible you think?

Re: Chase Scores Need for Good CLI

I am not sure for Chase, but seems that low 700's *may* get you a boost. Have your score's gone up since you applied?

USAA did tell me not to try to app for the Amex until I had atleast a 720, since the credit crunch is taking it's toll. I am also a new member so, I am sure that would have some bearing as well.

Re: Chase Scores Need for Good CLI

From what I've heard you can ask them to approve you for the highest amount, but I did it online thinking I had to wait 6 months or so before requesting. I had no idea it would work.

Yeah, I'm waiting to get a good promo offer or special before applying for the USAA Amex...I'm not in a rush to get it...and if you wait, USAA sometimes gives you unbelievable BTs and other things... I figure if I don't get anything by end of year I will apply then...good luck on your app when you go for it!
