Re: Chase - Total exposure / income / AA

100k is what they think I earn but its more like 42k now that I dont live with my friend who made 60k. I thought for some reason if we lived in the same house we could put down our combined incomes. Looks like I was wrong but w/e got the credits cards already Smiley LOL

But I have 52K exposure with Chase, they just gave me a Marriott card a month ago right before he moved out.

Im wayyy overexposed but whatever, I have so much credit I dont even care for CLI's anymore. I only care about credit cards with spend offers now.

This might not end well.  When your spending pattern changes, they can tell.

Wow....170k in available credit at 22? Clearly, you were putting in that other income, which while is not technically falisfying, you're in trouble if they ever want tax docs (i.e. your income only). Or they'll just see your spending change like Imperfect mentioned. I'd be a bit nervous if I were you.

Not to ruin your night or anything but yeah lol

Not only that, if they ever get in to trouble and need to BK creditors may claim fraud and may not be dischargable debt.

Im not worried at all, I just dont run up balances and keep most of the cards in the safe. Ill be 23 here in a few days so the 170k has been accured over a 5 year period. Applied for first cards on my 18th bday.

But I do take full advantage of credit card bonuses which is what half of the cards were/are for.

If they wanna AA me then so be it no hard feelings, theres pretty much always another card to fall back on. Smiley Happy

I did hop on the Discover CLI gravy train though, couldnt resist that.

what exactly would trigger checking income? as long as the cards see minimal usage, there's going to be no issues. no request for CLI, no PC, no worries. Plenty of people have more credit than their income. Lenders don't particularly care as long as they are getting paid off on the cards. It is true that a BK situation would be a concern, but it doesn't sound like strogen has any plans to stiff these lenders.

Y'all need to look elsewhere for your AA-mongering Smiley Happy

Right but your income far exceeds your exposure, the person above has an income way below what they have in limits. While yes, if you're making your payments it's unlikely there will be any issue, you never know.
