Ok, so I am working on getting the CSP + Freedom card. I read another user having 3 cards.. 2 of these, along with the FU!!
So my question is.. can you pair all 3?
CSP for the 2 points on all travel + dining.
5% revolving with the freedom.
and everything else on the FU?
Anyone have any clue about this?
Also whats a tier 1 rewards?
I tried googling about syncing all 3, and it just was talking about the FU vs Freedom. It said 'The Chase Freedom® is a tier one Ultimate Rewards card - this means having both will not allow you to transfer your points.'
Thanks in advance!

Hmm....not sure about that tier 1 thing...
But yes, a lot of people have the three (called trifecta) and all contribute to UR earnings. There's also a chase ink which is very good for earning even more UR.

I guess you don't see CSP fu and f being reviewed together because it's only a .5% difference. But because I was able to use one hard double pull for both CSP and FU, why not right? Actually they doubled pulled (Eq and ex) my CSP, denied my FU, and pulled eq again during my third recon for the FU. So I saved a EX inquiry. Lol
How did you go about applying? Did you have the freedom first? and then did the csp + fu?

I have all three and it is a UR machine
I really use the CSP for being the gatekeeper to URS, the FU is my main everyday card, and the Freedom is great right now for restaurants. I will easily rack up 5k to 6k miles this month.
You are really all in on those UR , i am an little scared of major devalue from any one particular Points rewards system. I like to spread it around lol.
EDP gets Groceries and everyday spend, Freedom+ink Plus for UR, and Citi TYP for travel and eating :-)

It really depends on your level of spend (and planned redemptions). If you can spend "a lot" it makes sense to spread among programs. But for more modest spending, (but still more than "cash back is better") it probably makes sense to focus on one program so you can get enough points for worthwhile redemptions.

I first had the freedom visa platinumin December. It's my first real card. Didn't really benefit from the gas or groceries category. 6 months later tried for the CSP, got approved with a exp and equ pull. Wanted to make use of my hard pull and tried for the freedom unlimited. 7-10 day notice. Denied for having too many new accounts. Called recon. Denied. Called again. Pushed for review. 2 week notice now. Called robolady, got declined. My scores went up because baddie fell off. Called recon for the third time. Told them my scores improved. She said you sure? I said I'm sure. She pulled equifax again. Saw the increase. Approved me on the spot. Another visa signature added to the line. Since then, been using it and paying almost immediately to avoid red flags. To date... No red flags or adverse action.
As for spreading the rewards.. That was the goal before. Get cash back from my spending. But because It was such a hassle keeping so many cards in my wallet to maximize the bonus categories, I decided to keep to one reward system. some cards only allow certain increments like Amex and chase freedom, so distributing it in so many different ways makes it more of a delay gratification.
While UR is cool, I can say I based my decision on wanting the CSP more than anything. I just revolved the rewards around that. I think it's a good system especially because of the nice signup bonus, 500+150, customer service, and the app.
You should definitely do it if you plan on redeeming the points through their portal for a free flight or whatever. But if you just want straight up cash back, there are definitely better cards with higher % back for the major categories.
Yup
i prefer to use miles over cash back.
cant wait till my scores are updated. Gonna jump on or prequal page and apply for that CSP. Then the other 2.
