I have never had a Chase card before. The Chase Disney will be my first. Everyone has read about Amex and Barclay but what does Chase like for usage?
I don't plan to carry any balances on this card. But I do want to apply for other Chase cards next Spring, so I would like an idea of what they like to receive auto cli's and/or approval with good APR and start limits.
Any advise from you Chase gurus out there?
FYI, I am considering CSP, Freedom and or Marriott Cards for next year. Not all of them, just one or two.
Thanks for the input!
FWIW, DW and I noticed that Chase doesn't mind you carrying a balance with them, but they get very irritated if you carry a balance elsewhere.
We found that out the hard way.

How did you find that out? CLD?
i put heavy usage and 3%-9% UTIL and received an 2x auto-cli after statement #2. it was low limit and there were no changes to my CR's during those months. YMMV

Yes, but when we called and explained the hows and why's, they restored her original CL...

You received a CLI after 2nd statement? Wow, ok. What was your increase if you don't mind me asking. Since it looks like you started with a $500 CL

Ok, well I'll just have to see how that goes. The Disney card only has 6 months at 0% but I have 3 other cards all at 0% for 12-15 months...so I am not going to carry a balance on anything past the 0% period.

they doubled it
I feel like the only people I read getting auto CLI are putting LOTS of money through a Chase Card... They seem to love use and or carrying a balance... I think as long as your overall credit profile is looking the same or better than when you got approved you don't have to worry about anything bad happening but if you want better chance of auto love I would make the chase your go to card for a few months and pay in full.
