On my freedom I was over 50% and on my 4th statement they auto cli'd me an extra 1K... I'm just taking advantage of 0% until April.
I got the RR 8k limit and then slate 2.5 limit. Ran only 700 through RR pay the statement balance but it will report a balance on my CBR. The slate only has 500 avail as I'm taking advantage if the 0% but will probably pay 25-30% down by Sept. Kinda wish I would've app'd for the freedom instead of slate but oh well.

@BluePoodle wrote:So Chase likes high usage and carrying balances? How long of a history before I could possibly expect a CLI?
Also, I am planning to garden until next April for my next mini spree of cards which will probably include Chase. Is that a decent amount of history before I apply for another card with them?
took me 4 months on freedom to get auto cli
What cards do you have Mong? Do tell!

Was approved this past weekend for Chase Marriott, $12K

I would tend to agree with the run lots of $$ through the card that most folks have said. I believe I started with a 5k limit on the freedom but ran about 3k at Lowe's in pretty quick order(rehabbing my condo I bought under appraised value from Freddie Mac). I did make multiple monthly payments towards the freedom to chip down at the balance in this time ~300/paycheck biweekly. It quickly raised to 7.5k (I did also get an 8k penfed cc as well at the same time as my chase and had a 7k amex which might have been determining factors.
When did you get you your CLI?
@Creditaddict wrote:I feel like the only people I read getting auto CLI are putting LOTS of money through a Chase Card... They seem to love use and or carrying a balance... I think as long as your overall credit profile is looking the same or better than when you got approved you don't have to worry about anything bad happening but if you want better chance of auto love I would make the chase your go to card for a few months and pay in full.
I got a 2K increase from 3K to 5K - I carried a 30-35% util. for the intro period, after 6 months they bumped me to 5K.
