Does the chase application status line update, with a denial or approval? Or, does it simply continue to say 2 weeks, 7-10 days, 30 days etc. until you receive either your card or a denial in the mail?
Thanks!
THAT is an awesome question OP! I have had the 2 week message on the status line for over three weeks and see nothing on line or in the mail yet, very frustrating LOL
I can't speak for every situation, but I was receiving the 30 day message for two full weeks and then it changed late one evening to "approved", and told me my credit line of 10k on my new Hyatt.
They only change the message once per day but I did call daily to see if there were changes. It does seem from other posts that Chase applications have been taking some time lately to approve. Generally, it seems that as long as the message is saying 30 days or 2 weeks/ 14 days, it is looking pretty positive for you - it's the 7-10 day message that seems to not be so positive in terms of approval. Best of luck to you both! Think positively
Thanks ot all of you!

Too old and plenty of cards.
LOL...... love this comment
Anyone get the 2-week message and one-week later it changed to 7-10 message but was still approved in the end?
Applied for chase aarp last week on the wives account, still getting the 14 day message. Looks like I will have to wait it out.
I also apped for AARP, but changing from 30-days to 2-weeks, then to 7-10 days for the verification of my address, then 2-week message (guess they received my mail), now it is 7-10 days message again. Not sure what is happening... Good sign or bad? I never do business with Chase before.
