I receieved a call from 800-935-9935 which upon an internet search appears to be Chase. They didn't leave a message. I have no idea why they would be calling. I checked online and everything appears in order there. I checked my email and didn't receieve any email from chase. I'm not past due on any payments or even carrying any balances. Just kinda weird since I have never had chase call me before. I don't bank with them just credit cards.

If they did not leave a message, its most likely some marketing/sales call
Do you have a pending application? If so, they calling to verify you. If you don't have any application pending, then it has something to do with your credit cards. Keep us posted once you speak with them.

No application pending. I'm not going to call them, since I don't see any good coming of that. It can't be that critical if they didn't leave a message. I did add an Au card to my marriott account recently. I receieved the card like a week ago and its only been used once. I don't see that card listed anywhere in my online profile.
Only other recent thing was a loan payment of several hundred dollars to navient, but I make those payments all the time with chase cards.

Ok... That is certainly up to you thus, calling them. Maybe they have questions? Who knows.. I hope it is nothing important or anything of concern. Because if they are not able to have their concerns addressed, they just proceed to close the account[s] outright.

So they would call, not leave any sort of message and then proceed to close accounts that are in good standing? I would think they would leave a message before that or send an email or secure message?

No. Won't happen. Read the threads on here of accounts being closed with no notice. Yes-its-Me is not saying that is the situation necessarily, only that you want to be proactive with the situation and not ignore Chase.

Peple's whose accounts have been closed have been in good standing per the posters on these board. I am just using the part in blue as an euphemism. I don't know about you but if I had accounts with a lender and they called and didn't leave a message, I'd call back as a precaution to make sure everything was OK. It is better to be safe than sorry.
But that decision is certainly up to you of course...
