would it be ok if I asked for a CLI today? (since I was approved for the Marriott card today)...on the freedom (I'm assuming I can't ask for both cards)
if they say no.... Do I have options in moving credit around (CSP-5k CL, Marriott 5k CL)
also so what's the best way to ask (sm, or call, and if call, which phone number)
(I never use the slate..... I use the freedom HEAVY... Like 70-95% of limit.... Then PIF as soon as it hits)
also the CSP is at about 40% (I'm waiting for the 1st bill to cut to PIF) should I PIF before I ask for the CLI or is it ok? (The other cards all are at 0 right now)
I'd give it another month or two and I would PIF the freedom card and let it cool off with your spend for a cycle. Maybe they will look at you for an auto cli. With brand new chase cards at the min credit lines I'm not too optimistic about your chances, so I wouldn't waste a HP until you age those other accounts a bit.
All the cards are at 0 except for the CSP ( I'm halfway to the spend requirement!)... I think you meant to PIF that card.

No, Marriott can go to $2k
What about the CSP? (Don't plan on touching it, just wanted to know)

You can always request one as long as you're willing to incur the hard pull. Whether or not you qualify is an entirely separate matter and we cannot tell you that. Many find they have no luck with customer initiaited CLI requests but some do get them. If Chase likes someone's credit profile then that person will probably get auto CLI's based on what I've seen. I've never received any CLI's from them but my wife has been auto CLI'ed a number of times.

Whatever you prefer.

It's never just a matter of the account itself but your entire credit profile and income. What's currently indicated on your reports?

A) CLI's are HP's.
B) Why do you have a Slate? That card is only useful if you know you want to do a BT since it has a 15 month 0% APR along with a $0 BT fee within the first 60 days ....

keep in mind the CSP and the marriott are already at their lowest CL so you can't really take from them.
Wrong. You can make the CSP and Marriott card have $500 limit eash if you wanted to and move the $9,000 to the Freedom.... They have a min $5k CL with chase but you can lower it. I made the CS which is also a siggy with Chase so it has a Min $5k and lowered it to $4,500 and move that $500 to my Amazon Visa.

No, CSP is $5k min
Na I lowered my CSP below $5k when I had the card.
Whatever you prefer.

$75k/yr
I would be hesitant requesting a CLI. Chase has given you 4 new accounts in a 6 mo time frame. If they thought your profile supported higher limits, you most likely would have gotten a higher limit on the recent Marriott account.
Lots of threads on here indicate Chase has closed all of some peoples accounts when requesting too much credit in a short period of time on suspicion of fraud. It would suck to have the CSP and Marriott closed and not even get the sign up bonuses.
If you go poking the bear, you might not like the outcome.
