Both at 17.49%, bottom of the range! Not any better than the public offers though, and of course there's a shakiness being at 5/24.
Did I miss when they started preapproving CSR?

Emperically it was one of the changes that took effect the morning of 6/5.
What were some of the other changes?
It was reported that Chase sent out a memo to all BRM on the morning of 6/5 that the in-branch BRM/paper application loophole was closed. That same week, DP of online My Offer CSR preapprovals started showing up.
You may recall that a few months ago Chase made a change that online preapprovals no longer override the 5/24 rule, but the latest trend appears that if an online preappoval lists a FIXED interest rate (e.g. 16.74%) 5/24 WILL be overridden, but if a RANGE is given 5/24 will still apply.

Grasshopper, I've always seen you around on the forums and been jealous of your profile (we are both students and started building at the same time
). As you can see from my siggy, June was my month to finally play catchup to you ![]()
Still waiting to get some nice preapprovals like yours some day...more will probably come when I turn 21 and out of the CARD Act. I've had to cold-app for every card in my profile EXCEPT my Amex, which I was preapproved for and got $4k as a SL a year ago.
