Are the number of accounts opened within the last 2 years as shown by the credit journey under the chase online banking accurate? Lets say if it says the number of accounts opened within the last 2 years is 2, does that mean you are under 5/24?
I am not sure if thats what chase goes by for its 5/24. I got a new auto loan a few months back since my car was stolen and i thought auto loans counted towards 5/24? I just dont want to waste a hard pull.
The number of new accounts would be all new accounts, not just those that apply to 5/24 (revolving/charge accounts). You could have taken out a mortgage, a student loan refinance, a personal loan, and 3 auto loans in the past 2 years and still be 0/24 as long as those were the only types of accounts you opened.
Auto loans are supposed to. BUT... after seeing K's response, I rechecked my Chase Journey info. It is either not showing my Chase auto loan, or it is not showing a closed credit card. My bet is all CCs are included, even though one is closed. So... they are not including auto loan through Chase?

It's omitting closed accounts.
I've only opened credit cards within the past two years. I've opened five and closed two. Credit Journey says I have three new accounts within the past two years.
Cool. So do closed accounts count in 5/24 since they are not showing them in Journey? I thought any new in 24 did. But I'd be very happy if only still open accounts count.
