Toys R Us store card closed

I just got an alert on creditkarma that my Toys R US store card closed.  I got an email a while back saying they hadn't decided on the fate of the store card, however, no updates since.

The reason is listed as inactivity, even though my last activity was around 5 months ago.  I knew it was coming, but I was hoping to keep the 10k credit limit around for a while after closing. Anyone else had theirs closed?

Looks like the store just gets closed while the mc gets changed over to a Sync mc .

Yep, I just got informed via Karma as well. Not a word fom SYNCB, however! Not one single email, phone call, letter nothing! Just one day it's closed. While I new it was coming, a little communication would have been nice. Geez! 

I could have possibly tried to use it in one last time. And yeah, mine sayd inactive too. lol

Though I'm sure anyone who looks at my CR, will assume the reason Toys R Us was closed.

Oh well, one less card to worry about I guess. But that makes 3 closed accounts in the last 2-3 months. That ahs to sting my score some.

Yes, I agree it would have been nice to get some sort of follow up communication.  I kind of assumed from the previous email that they would follow up before closing it. I was even a little bit hopeful they would convert it over to something else. 

However, I only used the card a few times a year, so the the loss in utilization is really the only thing I'm sad about.
