Chase scoring system?

So I got my denial letter for CSP (reconed and got it) but it says my score is 636 but out of 990? not the normal 850 im accustomed to. Any info or thoughts on this? Just curious

Chase uses an in-house scoring system for applications, not FICO scores.

interesting, do we have any idea what they consider a decent score? probably hard to say I imagine

You can get your Vantage score from Credit Karma. FWIW my 733 is considered a C. I have average 720 fico which would probably be B if they gave letter grades?

You can get your Vantage score from Credit Karma. FWIW my 733 is considered a C. I have average 720 fico which would probably be B if they gave letter grades?


lol 3.0! but interesting the CSR said my credit is great just thin and I know my fico is 707... good to know though, was unaware of this

Maybe some form of Vantagescore but not exactly it.

My guess is that it is a bank card enhanced version of the vantage score... which will be different than the standard vantage score that ck provides

with the letter and score (application score) they mentioned the neg factors explaining their score. well worth reading it. my fico EQ was 793 and Chase gave me their internal scores of 691 for my Freedom. But with their explanation it was pretty clear = off to the garden !

did you try calling recon to ask? they're a pretty helpful and nice bunch of people to talk to.
