Re: Chase

Chase asks about bancruptcies, but I don't know how lates will affect the Freedom app. I would really like to know the outcome of this too. How many accounts have you opened in two years?

I've done 4 apps with Chase. They have pulled TU&EX for ALL four! State: PA.

Re: Chase

I have 10 new accounts in under a year, and like 4-12 inquiries depending on which bureau, I rarely see a difference when I get a new inquiry. I think that's probably because I've reached some point where adding another doesn't really have a noticeable impact, but personally I don't think inquiries are that THAT big of a deal. I believe my recent denials are more caused by lack of history and new accounts, more-so than the inquiries.

Basically if you already have some inquiries then I don't think another makes much difference, just my opinion though.

Re: Chase

Just improved my scores over 100 points. Just don't want a huge dip in score if denied.

Re: Chase

Maybe I will wait a couple weeks. I disputed those latest here are like 15, they are supposed to be removed shortly. Probably give me a better chance.

Re: Chase

If you have negatives being removed soon then I'd definitely wait. Even if approved, the better your profile at the time of applying the better your starting limit will be.

Re: Chase

Well to be honest . The only ones approved for the freedom with sub 660 scores are those that have accounts with chase. Checking. Savings direct deposit. As others stated. Even upper 700s denied. It would be in your best interest to wait. Their pre approval is accurate for sure. Although verification is a pita. Best results wait until then. Or minimum until your scores. Over 660.

Re: Chase

They are over 670. No offers on pre approval for anything. I used the pre qual site for discover and had the it card offered. That is why I jumped on it. A week later I was reading how discover pre qual site is useless. You can put any info in it and will be "pre qualified" glad I didn't know that before hand because I would have steered clear. Lol
