I know what you mean it is a nice deal, but for me I doubt I will be approved going cold app, I already have 3 cards with Citi total over 40K probably at my threshold...
I hear you, I have 4 cards with Citi now, the two AA cards (Platinum and Executive) are new (my company switched to American so I had to get them - I fly for work alot)....I was able to move credit around from my exisisting Citi Cards when I applied for the Executive....granted I have been a customer with Citi along time and my scores are high....just thowing out options for you, you know your situation best!

no problem, I did alot of research on the card and found out you just need to be approved for a $5K limit then when they approve you (in most cases, like mine, you have to call in to finish the application) the CSR will ask if you want to move any exsisting credit to the new executive card.....I moved from my dividend and HHonors.....Good luck if you apply!!!

I would definitely call Citi on this issue, especially if you have a 10K limit, I do not see why your card should not be upgraded does not make any sense......

I think there may be more to it than just CL. What? I'm not sure. So far, I'm not seeing a stand out consistency.
