I just recieved my card today, and to say also it is a nice looking card, and I like the way it says World Elite on the front of the card, as i have a Citi Dividened World Elite and it only states it on the back of the card, the only issue I have is my AAdvantage member number is not embossed on the new card, as it was on the old card.......

Tray TOO FUNNY I thought EXACTLY the same thing, mine came in today and NO AA member number....Now I have to call and get another one....seriously this will be the 4th card I have and I only had the card since January...LOL the first time I asked for the number on the card they just sent a regular card...called again then they got it right, now this....and another call ....I am starting to feel guilty....LOL It is a nice looking card the silver MC logo looks WAY better on the grayish background!

LOL.... Let me know when you call in if you have any success if Citi will do this with the world elite card then I will have to call in myself, also I wish I was computer savy I would post a pic hopefully someone who has this card will do so....
We can't post pictures of cards. Only stock photos are allowed (aka Lee M Cardholder). I'm curious, what's the deal with having AA number on the card? When would you need it?
Just called the friendly CSR, and a new card will arrive FedEx Saturday with AA number on it....they are soooo nice.....

LOL I am old and forget numbers etc....it really is just so I know where to find it if I need it really, not sure of any "practical" reason, unless when booking on a website like orbitz you need to put it in to get credited for miles?? I know I put my numbers in the hotel or airlines websites under my profile so it is always there when I book off those.

I too, am curious. My WN card has it and I find it distracting/ugly. I keep a master list on my computer for booking online. I assume that gate agents can look it up but maybe they can't? Plus you wouldn't necessary have the AA credit card on you when flying AA.

It's such a short sequence. Too easy to memorize. Lol. Maybe I'm missing out having it on my card.
