Hello, I have a few questions regarding a CITI CLI.
My first request was 4.5 months ago for a CLI and I only asked for 100.00$ increase. It was approved (I should have asked for more).
1). Is it too early to request another CLI.
2). If I do request and get denied, does that reset the clock on when to ask for a CLI?
Thank you for your help in advance.
CITI CLI policy is 6 months. I would wait the full 6 months for the potential of getting a higher CLI. I went from 6.5K to 16K. Sometimes if you ask for a CLI before youre due then it could result in a HP.

Is your understanding of Citi's policy that any request after 6 months will start at an SP?
Based on what you're saying here there is a way to get an SP CLI... So far no one has known "for sure" how to do that, but I'm looking for further insight...
Any help you could provide is appreciated.
When I had my CITI Diamonds card I requested a CLI 4-5 months in and it resulted in a HP. They gave me $1K (I was desperate back then).
Fast forward
I was approved for a TYP in January and requested a CLI this month via online and approved (also reading what everyone said on here about CITI policy). No notification of a HP on my CR.
But as always YMMV

I would wait, there is no reason ot get another inquiry to ding your score.

Well its possible to get a HP at any CLI request, but when you go out of the CLI policy that the company has in place then yes it could.
Like Chase's CLI policy is auto CLI at anytime, 6 months majority of the time and if its a customer initiated CLI it will result in a HP.
My nerves got the best of me. I put in for a CLi and got an INSTANT DENIAL. It says the have my score on file from Equifax.
Does this mean I have reset the 6 month clock?
It literally took 1 second.
