Hopefully Citi doesn’t get too upset about it but you definitely risked that relationship I would say.

Chiming in on this as well, and not to be the grumpy old bear myself, I'd say what you are seeing is short-lived.  I say this because Citi, when it comes to SP increases, is known to only permit 1 every 181 days.  As much as I'd love to see you achieve that, we all know how Citi is and likely it will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly soon.  Congrats on the graduation of the card however, and hope for good things to come.

Re: Citi CLI button SP over and over? help fast

That's insane. Congrats tho!! I hope it sticks. Because of your post, I tested it out for my DC since I always have SP language even though I haven't reached my 6 month mark since the last CLI... DECLINED. lol. Received an email immediately letting me know it hasn't been 6 months yet.... So I think it's safe to say you just had a unicorn experience.

Keep us posted on whether or not you get to keep that limit... and if so, enjoy!!

I guess it was 8 times exactly..

Notice that if you subtract my starting 200 from my CLs it goes 250-500-1000-2000-4000-6000-8000-10000

Honestly, looks like an awesome system glitch. You said your card just unsecured? Maybe there's something funky going on with the setup. If I were you, I'd chill and maintain a low Citi profile for the next 6 months....see what happens.

My Citi card just unsecured and is letting me get SP CLIs over and over!

200 to 450 to 700 to 1200 just doing it again and again!

Mind blown! Should I keep hitting it? Should I stop?

Give me an answer fast before its gone please!

Are you sure it was SP?  Because if it was it was some kind of glitch.   You can get ONE SP CLI from Citi every 6 months.   Anything over that is a HP.   If it was a glich you most likey get your CL reduced.   Let us know if you hear form Citi.

Re: Citi CLI button SP over and over? help fast

I got none of the usual HP notifications from the many places that I get my reports.

I didn't think about checking my email until buddy said he got his denial email instantly..

Wow, thats a firstSmiley Happy. My thought besides a glitch is somehow thats how much your were allowed to have. I cant get a sp cli for my life but oh yeah, that must have been exciting as FICOSmiley Happy. 10k on DP is a great limit as it gives great bt flexibilty. Why i dont really use mine more is my low limit. Awesome job, hope it sticksSmiley Happy

Re: Citi CLI button SP over and over? help fast

Well, congrats on the increases Smiley Happy

I'd use the card lightly for a while, not go much over that first or second increase, just on the off chance they come back to reduce the CL to that range again. If it sticks for 2 or 3 months, then it's a full congratulations on the nice increase.
