Citi CLI, like clockwork!

The date of my last Citi CLI was 11OCT2009. Logged in today, "luv button" present, pressed it and got the congratulations message for a $750 increase to $8.4K. The last increase was $1.8K and the previous one was $1.25K. This CLI could have been grander, but it was easy and I'll take it. It's decent enough considering I am carrying a balance of $778.50 as a 0% APR BT. (CLI's at quarterly intervals, starting six months after opening. I paid this card religiously "PIF before statement" until the BT and now at least 5% or more of the balance monthly.) I don't know if I'll have the BT killed of by the APR "luv button" appearance.

I used to get them on the dot every third statement, but ever since I hit $10,200 they won't budge. I go straight to the form now.

Congrats!

Congrats!! The CLI link for my account never went away and I never got the form.   I still haven't got an increase.  I sure would like to know what's up with that!

Re: Citi CLI, like clockwork!

I opened my account back in Sept. and i'm wondering when I can apply for a CLI? I heard that the link will appear when your third statement is available.

I did not get my first one until six months.

Re: Citi CLI, like clockwork!

Will a CLI request hurt your credit score? What do the banks do and check when you make that request? I don't want an inquiry on my CR but for a CLI.

Re: Citi CLI, like clockwork!

Well this check was against internal records and a soft INQ that had already been done. But if you get the form to complete when you request a CLI from Citi it will be a hard INQ.
