Citi CLI question

Yesterday was my CLI request date on my Citi Premier. SP request went without a hitch, it's the HP one that I have a question about. I'm willing to do the HP so asked for it immediately after the SP approval and gave prompt of "24 hrs we'll let you know decision by email" spiel. This was yesterday morning and still no HP alerts on ANY of my reports or email from Citi about request

So my question is did my request get lost? I was thinking that maybe using the app along it being a leap year day maybe tripped something on Citi's side because when I went to loging to website on laptop I am still able to request a HP CLI. I don't mind submitting the request again but I also don't want to get hit with a double HP either

Any help appreciated!

Re: Citi CLI question

No it didn't get lost. I thought the same thing when I asked for one in October so I froze my reports and then got a HP the next day. They told me that I can't have it with the freeze and TU won't remove it because it's a legitimate HP. Learned the hard way that if it's coded "account review," you can receive a HP when frozen! Just give it time.

Question: After you did the SP CLI, did you actually get an increase or were you denied and that's why you did the HP?

*ETA - ah never mind. I missed the "approval" part.

What was the timeline between the initial request and when the HP was performed? Reason I ask is because this experience is different from my one last September when I double dipped

Re: Citi CLI question

I just went and looked. Requested 10/11, HP hit 10/13.

I did mine on weekday so could be different from weekend but knew back within less than an hour.  I suspect the weekend if the issue here as your profile is solid.  Can call in tomorrow if you havent heard anything and no HPs show up.  I think you will be just fine imo

I think their email/text system was out of whack today.   They sent about 10 account balance alerts to me with the same info and no changes to my balance since last week.  Got so annoyed I logged in to turn off all alerts.

Re: Citi CLI question

It was all "Congrats on your increase" "Credit limit was adjusted" "Confirmation of Citi Activity" and so on for me today 🤦‍♂️
