Has DGF considered a 2nd Navy card? I'm sure she can squeeze a lot of SL juice.

We tried a cli on her platinum the other night and she didn't get it, I think she may have pulled that trigger a hair too soon, she is considering a second card but we shall see.

Yes, both the Venture and Savor have a 5k minimum.

Savor has a $2K minimum.

If DGF is prequalified for Venture though, it's very likely that any card will get a $5K+ SL.

Re: Citi, Cap1 questions

Be careful going for the Savor unless the annual fee makes sense. Recent anecdotes suggest Capital One is less willing to downgrade people from the Savor to the Savor One. You'd have to spend > $9500 per year in the 4% categories to make it worth it.

Some posts suggest that the Savor One has a lower limit. That's not always the case. Based on my own account and lots of posts by others, it looks like Savor One cards get the same limit as you'd get with the Savor *as long as your profile and debt/income are good.* My own Savor One was approved at $20,000 in late 2018. Others have posted with approvals in the $10k to $30k range, the same range as a lot of Savor and Venture approvals.

That said, it appears that recent approvals haven't been as generous as late 2018. Or, possibly we've exhausted the supply of members here who'd qualify at that range. Also, Capital One has made sort of a shadow lower-end version of the Savor One, a subprime one if you will, with approvals as low as $500 and maybe up to $2500...

Take from that what you will. Just wanted to point out that a very solid PRIME applicant shouldn't have a difference between the Savor and Savor One. Whether either of those fits your spend, that's a whole other question.
