Citi Cards

What's a good starter Citi card?  Preferably one that reports the full CL.  I have already been to whogavemecredit but I would rather hear it from you all.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Citi Cards

So I guess I'll just apply for the Citi PP and then try to convert to Platinum Select.

Re: Citi Cards

I like the CitiDividend Amex Card.   I have received one check for $50.00 and awaiting another one in the mail.    $300.00 in real cash a year isn't bad.  I use the card for everything.  The Citi$ add up fast.  You can request a check once your Citi$ reach $50.00 by phone or on their website.

I just closed my TrueCredit site.  If it didn't take me so long to download the credit reports, I would check to see if all 3 credit agencies are on there; but I do believe it is.

Re: Citi Cards

SGT_F,

That is certainly not true unless they stopped issuing checks after the check I have in my hand!!!  Smiley Indifferent    I am sitting here with a check for $53.91 that came in today's mail from Citibank.  This is my second check this year for over $50.00.  Limit is $300.00 a year.  This is a CitiDividend American Express  Card we're talking about?   On my website it has rebate check and reward activity.

For the rebate check one simply has to call the Cash Back Redemption Line at 1-866-501-2484 after they earn the $50.00 or apply for it on their website.

Re: Citi Cards

I agree you should apply for the Citibank Platinum Select Dividend card.  They are aleady reporting to at least two (Experian and Equifax) CRA's after having the credit card for less than two weeks (and, yes, they report the credit line of $3,600 also!).  I'm very pleased at how quickly they reported this positive tradeline on my credit reports.
