Citi Converting Cards...Hard or Soft Pull?...

Does anyone know when you do a card conversion with Citicards, do they do a hard or soft pull?

Thank you

Andrew

I don't think they do a hard or soft...your terms just transfer over to the new card unless they specify otherwise when they convert.

They soft pull...  My initial conversion made a soft, then shortly thereafter when I requested the Dividend Platinum Select Card instead, another soft...

@smc733
Glad to see another Citi secured convert. About the soft inq citi conducts before unsecuring, is it labeled "Citi Financial"? My secured card expires on 5/5, how long before that can I expect my CD money to be returned to me? And was ur unsecured limit almost same as secured? Lastly, thanks for letting me smother you with questions!

Actually, I converted a Citi Forward to my current Citi card, (was never secured), but the soft pulls show up as "Citi Cards Cbsdna"
