I applied for Public Secured Card its a secured credit card, no credit checks at all, I heard they were a good card to get..
You can check it out https://www.publicbankcard.com
I am not to familiar with different secured cards but one major thing is make sure it is one that reports to all 3 credit agencies.
Hopefully someone more knowledgable can advise on which companies to avoid due to fees and so on.
The public savings secured card does report to all 3 creidit places , I forgot to add that into my post
You may also want to talk to a local CU, they are generally good and many of them have secured cards with no AF like DCU in MA/NH

I'm just starting my credit but I have couple of thongs on my record that I should say...gas bill (3 years ago) not paid but working on it...bank of america account closed(3 years ago) paid yesterday$ 233 ..... I need help figuring out which credit card (secured) I should get?
Definitely check out any CU before you decide.
Capital One is my favorite among the major banks. It is not too hard to qualify. It has good terms and features for a secured card. The application is very thorough and they pull all 3 CR.s.
HSBC (orchard) is ok, not too hard to get. Lot of paperwork to fill out.
Public Saving Bank is easiest to get. No credit check. Low APR. It never unsecures, but very useable card to develop history. They make you wait 10 weeks to get deposit back when you eventually close it.
