No luck so far with the PC but will check again down the road.
@Anonymous wrote:Had you used your TE lately? I had two TE's; the personal version and the business version. I had been using the business card somewhat reguarly, but hadn't used the personal one in over six months. I received my business Citi Costco card in early May, but not the personal. In early June, I put a small charge on the personal TE, and within a couple of weeks I received my personal Citi Costco card. My guess is that they were looking to weed out dormant accounts by just not issuing the Citi replacement card if the TE card had gone unused in a while.
I had not used my TE since 11/2015 and received my Costco Anywhere Visa. Be careful assuming broad trends on any topic based on limited sample data.

It's not just about the passage of time with any creditor. One has to have a credit profile and income that qualifies
I received my cards yesterday.
@yfan wrote:Something pretty cool happened after my Costco Visa got activated today. My other 2 Citi cards did not get my usual CLI in February. I figured it was because of the move from Amex to Citi for the card. That checked out. Today I got $1600 increases each on my Citi DC and Diamond Preferred.
I didn't get a Costco card, but got 1300 on diamond preferred. ![]()
I have a Citi CashRewards with 15k and don't need two Citi cards. Called CS to ask about PC or shifting CL, told not possible in the system. She said I could always call back and CLI the Costco card if approved. Applied online - automatic approval for 10,500. I'll wait till tomorrow to call back for CLI and then cancel the CashRewards card. I spent 30 minutes on hold the last time.
Current stats:
>300k in revolving limit, 4% util
15 accounts, highest limit 50k
EQ FICO 797
1 inquiry in last 12
1 new account, CapOne Venture - 30k

kdm suggested to wait a week as it's still a new card and not full integrated in their systems. He mentioned that the same thing happened when the Double Cash was released that people couldn't convert to it, but a week later people were able to. Has anyone on here successfully PCd a Citi card to the Costco card as of yet? The only thing I read was someone PC'ing the Costco card to HHonors.
I just called to see if there was an update, and apparently they have a policy on the card stating that it cannot be product changed as it requires a costco membership. The representative I spoke to said it will be an ongoing policy that the other citi cards cannot be converted to the Costco card. What do you guys think?
No problems with the switch from TE here. Charged online Costco.com and gassed up at the store. Fast food works. My life is covered. lol
However, many are outraged. Growing pains.... http://finance.yahoo.com/news/costco-citi-visa-cards-making-162305153.html
