Citi Credit Line Increase Question

Hey guys/gals, what is the normal procedure for requesting a CLI with CitiBank Credit Card?

I try to submit a CLI and there was a form show up and required to fill out. I cancel the request because i was afraid it'll be another credit pull which I don't want that way? Is this a standard procedure for CLI.?

I thought if you click CLI button and you'll get an instant response but i guess not..

Can yall let me know your experience requesting CLI with citibank? Thank you

If you click the button and the form pops up that will result in a hard pull. A soft pull will result if you click the button and you get a message saying you are approved for x amount of CLI and you are asked to accept the offer or not. This is how it has worked in my case.

From a BK years ago to:
7/09 TU-742 EQ- 779
8/09 TU-765 EQ- 783
9/09 EX pulled by lender 802

You can do the same thing with hard work

From what I am hearing lately very few if any are getting CLI through the luv button lately. You are being asked to call and verify income. Some people are asked how much they want in the way of CLI. Some are granted some not. Still a soft pull in most cases. This is the most recent behaviour say the last couple of weeks. You can thank the new CC regulations. I won't go near the button again.

I haven't seen the bottom for a while so I called the backdoor # and got a CLI. I guess you're right the new credit act is playing a role in this. I have a quick question though, how often can you request CLI without a hard pull?

awe I really hate the new CC rules, so stupid and retarded..

Do we get auto CLI these days? i just hate to call in just a waste of time and it shouldnt be that way for request CLI..
