The lowest credit limit I have is from my Citi DC card, which I've had for almost 2 years.
During all that time I've never gotten a soft pull CLI opportunity. 3 or 4 times I applied for a CLI with a HP, and was denied each time.
Today, for the very first time, I had a soft pull CLI offer, and thought 'finally they're ready to do something'.
I pulled the lever, and of course... it was denied.
Hey SJ. Sorry for denial. Seeing your post prompted me to try again for a SP increase. I logged in, got the SP verbiage for the first time in over a year, tried to get an increase on my double cash and no go as well. Said a HP would be needed. Sooooo, no thanks.
Interesting though, I have three different cards with them and the DC was the only one with the SP verbiage.

What were your reasons for HP denial? SP denial letter will be available electronically tomorrow if you're in paperless
I don't recall. I don't even recall them ever telling me.

Sorry to SJ, that really stinks. You would think with your credit they would at least give the sp luv. Whats the most they give on sp, 14-1600 ? Not gonna break the bank there and for having the card 2 years and no love , im sorry to hear such things. Nowhere near you in terms of credit, just finished 1st 6 months with Citi but i already know im not gonna give no more hard pulls for Citi lovin. Do you think you will close it now or sd it?
On the site they still have me with a 700 EQ FICO Bankcard 8 score, even though my present score is 773. Maybe they're going with the old score.

I've been with them almost 2 years and this was the first time I'd ever seen -- on my own screen -- that soft pull language. I had to do a double take, thought maybe I'd been reading MyFICO so long I was starting to hallucinate
