Just received a nice banner message in my account for my Double Cash a few days ago:
Happy 1st Anniversary for your Citi Double Cash! (with a neat little icon of a medal or award ribbon)
The message shows up daily now when I log in, and possibly may continue for a week or so.
It's a nice touch and a nice, appreciative message to see when you expect to be logging in and just routinely reviewing your financials. Thanks, Citi! ![]()
haha congrats! I just logged in and tried for a 2nd SP CLI (yesterday was 6 months from the first one) but got the "we can't approve your request at this time" blah blah notice as usual.
Have you done your every-6-month-SP-CLI requests?
Did it also include a hefty CLI? ![]()

Thanks, wandering! My limit on Double Cash is now at $7,400 CL and I received the $1,400 CLI at the 9 or 10 month mark. Started at 6k so a fairly good SL for Double Cash.
And I definitely marked the calendar for 6 months from the last one! You know it! ![]()

@Anonymous @ noxqs! My limit is now $7,400 and I received a $1,400 CLI at either the 9 or 10 month mark, so I had an early anniversary CLI. ![]()
Sweet, my DC will be a year old on Labor Day weekend, maybe I'll see that banner too, I also plan a CLI request that weekend.
I never got anything and my card turned a year old in May
I'd take an usable CL over a banner any day ![]()
8 months, and still at the $500 CL. Outside the DC, I have three other cards with Citi (Best Buy, Sears and AA, which I got after the DC) with a combined $14k in CLs.
The FICO listed on the Citi website is now 7 weeks old, and 74 pts below my other FICO scores. It's 35 pts below the FAKOs on Cap 1 and CK (which should be going up tonight, if WalletHub is to be believed).
But, hey, at least theyr'e giving out banners.
Not that I'm bitter or anything. ![]()

The Bestbuy card i wouldn't call it a "citi" card;

Nor the Sears. But I talked to someone in Citi who approved a CLI on the Best Buy card. And my AA card is almost the same CL as the Best Buy and Sears cards combined. Which means it's about 12 times higher than the DC card.
Just trying to sort out the disparity.
