Is anyone currently enrolled in the Citi IdentityMonitor service? I called Citi asking for a CLI (I know, right? What was I thinking? During this economic crisis? I must be crazy....... they said they will notify me within 30 minutes. Meaning, I did not qualify, right?), and the sales rep suckered me into enrolling in this service.
He said it provides you credit report from ALL 3 beaureus for only $12.95 a month. First 30 days is free, and I can cancel at any time. Question is, is anyone using this? And is it worth it? I honestly mainly only said yes in hope of getting that CLI.
Since the TC change in TOS - this is one I am exploring along with Credit Secure (AmEx). The SIM is good (allows to tweak each account) - even though it sims FAKOs.
Trial period you can only get the initial report (not daily) - and I was told that after the trial period daily pulls are permitted - I hope so because getting an alert and not being able to see what is going on is a pain (happened on Friday).
DW has it, costs us $4.95/mos. FAKO scores, monthly pull.
$12.95/ mos is ,IMO, too much. You can get CCT/CS/CIDP for less and pull daily.
During this economic crisis, lenders still grand CLI.
I think, Citi will pull hard responding to a customer initiated CLI request.

How do you get CCT for less than $12.95? I just signed up and am paying $19.95.
Citi does not always do a hard pull; however, if they asked for income, it probably was a hard. Whenever I call them, I'll ask for a CLI if they do not have to pull my credit. Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't, but I never let them pull it. They've given me about $10K in CLIs since the summer; I've been good to them and they've been good to me.
Also, I signed up for IdentityMonitor because I had a link that gave me a $25 rebate for signing up for free. I actually gave up hope on actually getting the rebate (I was told I wouldn't get it because I cancelled, the rebate phone line said it was sent Oct 30th, and online it said it was still processing) but it actually came a few days ago (I think; I can't be sure it was the rebate, and no one at Citi had a clue)!

one good way to ensure a soft pull increase (if available) at citi is to say "is there an instant [ cli ] available on my account?" if your account shows an instant increase is available that should always be a soft pull.
