Citi Prestige: Double/Tripple Dipping

Hi there,

So almost a year ago, I was approved for $10k on my Prestige (now $14k, yey!).  However, with the CSR now in my wallet, I want to cancel this card.  My annual fee comes along in December, and according to Citi, I have 30 days (or maybe a little bit more) to cancel the card for a full refund.

Thus, by this time, my airline incidentals resets.

Do you think they would honor the refund even if I use the $250 incidental credit before asking to cancel the card?

Thanks

I would think its a feature of an active card that you have.. yes. You should be good.. If youre using other benefits, they cant exactly take back the value of those.. Others may have more concrete info though.

Did you end up trying this? If so, what happened?
