Thanks for this post. Just grab my 2 offers (1 for Prestige and 1 for Premier)

Prestige - Spend $3,000 in 6 months and get 10k Thank You Points

Premier - Spend $1k in 3 months and get 5k Thank You Points

i was given another option for the Premier for $300 spend each billing cycle and get 500 extra points for 16 cycles (I declined this offer)

I'm not sure what this post is for, exactly, either.

Is it just a number to call to find out offers you would normally have on your card? I can usually find those out via chat.

If it's a special "retention offer" that you can only get if you say you will cancel your card, it wouldn't help to call as I plan to keep both of my cards.

Re: Citi Retention Acception Direct Calls

This is the number to retention depart. They give you incentives to prevent you from closing your account. To retain you as a card holder. With the news going around with the Prestige card and da redemption rate , many will be closing their accounts. So using this number will get your points. The offers I git is worth about $240

I don't get it either. Do we all have these offers on our accounts or do you have to act like your closing the card?

Agreed-  I don't want to have to pretend I'm closing my cards to get an offer, as I don't want them closed.

Do you actually have to say you want to cancel your card?

No one said anything about pretending to do anything
