I'm probably screwy but I'm actually hoping they let me keep the CC secured when the 18mos are up. At least if they are still paying 4% APR on the CD. It also makes it a lot more likely I won't find myself on some foreign trip with a suddenly closed CC. In 3 years when all my baddies have fallen off and my credit is once again solid I'd let it go but until then - please keep me secured with that cute sub-platinum, sub-gold, sub-silver CC.
Has your card Citi card reported yet or have you heard back from the Citi supervisor you spoke to about the CAR reporting? My next statement is imminent and I have a negative balance (due to a goof paying). I'll let you know when (if?) it shows up on the CR.
