Guess they really wanted that DP out of the fire box sock drawer.

Interesting. Higher percentage but the same cap on return amount as credit.

I got an offer on my simplicity and so did a relative on their DC. Mine is 5% in restaurant grocery gas drugstore and mass transit. Email like yawls above up to $25 through November 30.

But even more interestingly when I had called in previous to that about something, the representative said a very rare offer for 3% non-category spend was available to be activated on my Simplicity. I think it was capped at $350 spend. And this was right after I activated a 0% offer.

Plus the relative got a 7% offer on DC up to $350 in spend I think. The four categories.

Funny I haven’t put any spend on the simplicity in a while so I think they were trying to stimulate spend; however it’s funny, after I had the conversation with the rep I got a letter confirming my account would not be closed, so it makes me think she may have activated a retention offer trying to help me when I never spoke of closing the account.

When I received the letter, my first instinct was to call and ask what’s going on; but then I thought a little while and said maybe I shouldn’t rattle the nest, what do you guys think?

Oh as for the relative it’s funny that was the non-category driver till they got an AOD, so I think citi is missing their spend.

Yup.. at least it'll take fewer swipes to get to the total.   I'll take it with me on my trip this weekend - let's see if out of state spend on a card that's been dormant for 18months gets someone's attention.
