Citi Simplicity vs. Diamond Preferred

I'm not actually in the market for one of these, but it struck me as odd that Citi would offer such similar products with different names.  They both seem to be plain vanilla zero rewards cards suitable for balance transfers or possibly low APR seekers.

What differentiates these two products?

The Simplicity is no late fee, no annual fee, no penalty rate -- EVER! but it can't be PCd.

The Diamond can be PCd and offers concierege service.

I may app for one of these next year. They may be simple "vanilla" cards with no rewards, but that 21-month intro APR can't be beat!

See what CreditInspired said. I just got the DP because it can be PC'd later. Once the 21 months runs out on either card, they will be useless.
