Haha, yeah, call me shallow but that silver MC logo looks damn cool. I look forward to the upgraded concierge as well. For me anectodally, Visa Signature concierge >>> MasterCard World (non-elite) concierge.

Grrrr, tried calling in again to have my card converted, still a no go...maybe ill try again tonight. I have a visa signature, this will just complete my wallet collection...

Based on your forum signature it looks like you have a platinum level Citi Dividend MasterCard, not a Visa Signature. Am I reading it wrong?

I think he mean he is referring to his CSP Visa Signature and how a World or World Elite MC would complete his collection of cards. Seems like his existing card is the Citi Platinum Select Dividend MasterCard. Alternatively, have you tried getting a World MC?

Yes, I was referring my Visa Signature to my CSP, and I have tried asking for just the World MC also, but they continue to tell me my account has no options for an upgrade...I will try once more tonight, and if not, I will just try again next month. 

 

Update: The representative only had options to covert my card to the forward, thankyou card, and cash returns card...Oh well, it was worth a try.

Citi Dividend Platinum Select? Well that's discouraging that it doesn't have a silver logo haha. I guess I'll find out in a little over a month. So you skipped the MC World level entirely when they auto-upgraded you?

That's odd that they won't even upgrade you to the World tier. How old is the card? Are you using it much?

I'm not entirely sure if I skipped the world level. I had sock drawered the card so long. I noticed good deal on BT so I asked for a replacement card since the card I had long expired. When the replacement arrived it said world elite. I called to confirm and they said yes.

Oh nice! I never really paid attention to credit cards until a few months ago, it's kind of addicting now haha. I started my Citi Dividend as a student card in college and was auto-upgraded to Platinum, then World, and now World Elite at my request.
