Citi apr redux

I try to visit all of my accounts online a few days a week, just a few minutes ago by chance I was looking at both my Citi cards and my Premier APR reduced from 17.49 to 14.99, I did not ask for an APR reduction. It just happened.

Do you use your Citi cards a lot? Mine gets a lot of use, but they like my APR high. I don't really care, just trying to figure out the logic. Maybe they feel they give me enough reward $ and they aren't going to budge on the APR, but I'd be good with that!

Actually its been pretty stagnant, I did use it a bit the last 30 days, but nothing crazy. I just happened to click the Rate button next to the card and thought "that looks lower than what I remember" and it was. idk.

usually none of the logic is logical that I can see.

Ya Joe, I was really surprised at the lower APR on the card with the promo.

They are both fairly aged cards.

Update to APR  .. Looks like it has been lowered from initial 15.24% to 14.24%  ..
