Hello,
I have been diligently paying off credit cards to work on my credit score for a future home purchase. I had a
$1500 limit on a Citi Diamond Preffered and i paid off $1000 balance back in February. I used it in March to make an $800 purchase and was waiting until the end of the month to pay it off and I got I notice saying they lowered my credit limit. Is there anyway to speak to someone about this? To possibly keep my high line of credit? I work so hard on my credit score and it makes me sick to my stomach to think something like this will cause me problems or delay me even more. I have never been late on a payment and have always paid above the minimum. Any advice? I'm lost.

You had $1000 balance in February and PIF by end of the February? ... which makes balance of $0 ... Is this the one on the CR or $1000?
You made $800 purchase in March and going to PIF soon ... are you trying to keep the balance $0 on your CR?
Why are you waiting until the end of the month?
Addition to Uborrow's question, please post all of your credit information for better advice.

looks like a sign of balance chasing, you most likely wont be able to get your limit back to where it was because they are balance chasing you and might eventually lower your limit even more. you should try to only charge what you can afford instead of making big purchases and paying above the minimum because it shows to them that you are risky
