Agree, if any banks were doing that we'd be hearing crowds screaming bloody murder here.
My guess is that the fraud protection/prevention group flagged you for some reason. I doubt it has to do with disputing $60 in purchases unless they think you had some hand in the fraudulent activity.
there was a guy on here not long ago who disputed something like a $200 charge with chase. they immediately cancelled all of his cards without reason, didn't let him open them back up. he was with them for years with a perfect record.
so even though you aren't liable for fraudulent charges on your card... beware of reporting it. better to just eat a $60 fraudulant charge than have your cards cancelled.

Then they can close the card. I won’t be penalized for something that’s not my fault. There are other cards with other banks and credit unions.

Hear! Hear!
So what happens Creds when it happens a 2nd time, a 3rd time. No way, Jose! I’m disputing fraudulent charges—each time, every time.

Same here, no way I'm paying for fraud on my accounts.

Before everyone gets excited with self-satisfied "I'm not going to pay for fraud" posts (oh, too late!) recall that many of us have successfully disputed fraud charges without any AA. So these individual cases may a) have absolutely nothing to do with the report or b) special features that made the issuer very suspicious.
OP, I’m very sorry for your situation. I hope you get answers. As someone who told Citi to **** off years ago, it’s not really a loss. GL to you though.

True. Thanks for the reminder.
