Citi slow as a turtle?

Am i the only one that has a hard time with Citi's website?

It's always stuffy and so slow to access and not just when they might experience heavy trafic days.

This is been going on for an incredibly long time.

Also another issue that constantly is annoying for example is the free EQ bankcard fico they offer.

Accessing the site (finally after several tries and multiple login tries) the last released fico shows "as of 08/23/2016", in 12 days it will be two months behind.

Can anyone fill me in on what's happening with Citi?

I currently have (2) cards with them but confidence in them is falling very low because of these continuous issues that they just won't fix.

Re: Citi slow as a turtle?

The site works pretty well for me until I get to the score part. Mine is stuck on the same exact date as yours. I'd like to try yet again for a CLI on my DC, but not til that updates. So frustrating!

Maybe that's why they delay Smiley Frustrated

I did some score experiments and waiting for the new update to give that a try too.

Their site on the other hand is another story for me, and it always seems to crawl so slow to fully load.

Guess another browser will have to do for the time being. Funny no other account sites have as much difficulty.

Re: Citi slow as a turtle?

Their website has always been glitchy and slow, despite several redesigns. Just something you have to deal with with Citi.

On the plus side the mobile app runs generally more smoothly than the website. Maybe that would be a better option for you.

Well thanks for letting me know i not been the only one who is run up on this, and way too much IMO.

It's apparent the transition of website C0dE to portable/mobile friendly handsets and that's completely expected, but not at the expense of trashing the rest of users who prefer their access without constant glitching, agree.

It is what it is though.

Headsup! My score updated since I last replied to this thread. Maybe yours did too. I'm off to get denied for my CLI again! Smiley Very Happy

Thanks

Maybe mine updated too so i can also get another one of those.

At least it should reflect a better number now some score experiments have completed.

Re: Citi slow as a turtle?

Shot down again. Shame in a way. The DC card had been getting SP CLI's every 6 months until now.

I guess they didn't like my successful spree back in June-Aug but that's what happens when they hold back and drag their feet.

Customers always have other choices to turn to new accounts to offset their laziness.

In fact the spree was so much better than Citi wasting time, that one of my new approvals was so really good that one of them smoked both Citi cards combined.

Time for Citi to stand in the corner aka: SD for an extended stay now. If they don't want the usage then others certainly will welcome it.

Plus don't have to deal with that notoriously glitchy account site for awhile either.

FWIW, the new score which finally updated is showing EQ 723.

I am telling you, its worth the HP for a CLI.  Call the EO.  Especially if you need it.  Otherwise just push payments as needed from your checking account until next time.  Heck we've even had calls, or online requests where it says HP, and after speaking to EO, no HP was obtained.  As always YMMV.  But there was no chance in heck I could get a 15k limit on my DC in a year, it has saved me a lot of hassle in the long run.
