Re: Citi slow as a turtle?

CreditMagic7 I was told by one of the CSR's that my SP CLIs stopped because the Citi internal risk max had been hit. Whether this applies to you ... who knows? Food for thought.

I haven't had any issues with their site or score updates. I know people have complained about issues after Citi does an upgrade. Hopefully, it gets better for you CM7.

If this was the case on my (2) Citi cards then the bar must be set pretty low for this profile.

Since both cards are sporting a combined line of $12K i wouldn't think that it's anywhere near internal max by a long shot and especially when they are showing PreApprovals with the Opt-Out box in selections.

It is my suspicion that they have drawed back for now due to some pretty good runs on new accounts approved this past summer with decent limits.

So it might take some time for that to digest fully first and run it's usual Citi holding period before allowing anymore for the time being.

And that's ok, SD is a good resting place for cards that exhibit those threshholds. They lift eventually..
