I had Citibank chargeoff in 2021 even though I paid off the account. I had two 120 day Chase late payments.
This was all taken care of Jan 2021.
Since then my credit score has gone from 550 to 720+
Citibank cancelled my Costco Citibank card even though I have a $650 limit on the card. Can I do something about it ?
What is the reason given for closing the account ?

How long have you had the Citi Costco Visa?
Was this card issued prior to your other Citi chargeoff?
Has there been any activity on that card in the last several months?
The fact I had a chargeoff with Citibank
I have had the Citibank Costco visa for a long time at least since 2016
I use the card a lot and pay off the balance every month
They closed it because you had another account with them that went into chargeoff...Just how it works and there is nothing you can do about it. You are also likely "blacklisted" with them. You might get back in sometime between today and never, nothing is set in stone with that kind of thing so it just depends on your credit profile and how much time has passed.

I'm suprised they left it open for that long. Especially after your other existing Citi account was charged off.
Typically Citi waits until those chargeoffs come off your reports. It will be more difficult to get back in with their core cards, easier with retail cards.
I had a Citibank Drivers Edge Visa charge off back in the early 90's for $1700.
They let me back in earlier this year with Custom Cash....
The Citi never sleeps, and the Citi takes a long time to forget.
